Seeing the Light!

This is a continuation of a series of biographical documentary of my open source stints. Soon the internet became a great boom. From 1996 to early 1998 i was one of the early patrons of 56kbps dial-up connections. I grabbed my first "html" code and begun writing simple web-pages with it. The idea of client server architecture was beginning to take shape, when I published my first intranet site using IIS! Yes, IIS the crude web server of microsoft. This is about to change when on the same year I got my hands dirty with Linux!

Linux, to the rescue. At that time I wasn't sure what it was or what its for? I mean why would I want an operating system that doesn't make seens when you are happily using windows? ...
